The impact of biomarkers on the early diagnosis and prediction of human lung cancer abstract

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide, with early detection playing a criticalrole in improving survival rates. Biomarkers are increasingly recognized for their importance in diagnosing andpredicting lung cancer, especially through liquid biopsy methods that analyze circulating tumor DNA andmicroRNAs. These biomarkers offer non-invasive and reliable options for early detection and monitoring, particularly for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Despite promising advances, challenges remain instandardizing these methods and refining clinical applications. Further research is essential to optimize biomarkerusage and improve lung cancer screening and prognosis, ultimately enhancing early detection and patientoutcomes.
