Transmission substations play a critical role in the reliable delivery of electricity over long distances.However, extreme temperature conditions can significantly impact the performance and lifespan ofcritical substation equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and reactors. This study exploresand evaluates various cooling methods to maintain operational efficiency and minimize risksassociated with high-temperature environments. Methods including air cooling, liquid cooling, andadvanced hybrid cooling techniques are compared based on their effectiveness, cost, and feasibility inextreme conditions.
