Design and Challenges of Evidence-Based Medicine Curricula: A Scoping Review abstract
This scoping review explores the structure and implementation of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) curricula for physicians in training and identifies barriers encountered during their adoption. EBM combines clinical expertise with the best available evidence to enhance patient care, emphasizing lifelong learning and self-evaluation. Despite its integration into most training programs, there is limited consensus on the most effective teaching methods or the extent to which EBM training impacts clinical outcomes.
