CONCRETE IMPACT ON ENVIRONMENT AND ITS RULE IN GREEN BUILDING

Concrete utilized widely in building industries for it is good mechanical properties and low cost. On the other hands concrete industrial is known toleave many environmental footprint on planet earth. A major of their problem are used high amount of raw material for product concrete.Using high amount of water and fuel inproduction process of it is other harm to environmental. Then there are the CO2 emissions caused during the production of Portland cement.But on other side of view, concrete can use in building as part of green building and sustainability. Concrete have a better thermal andnoise resistance compare other material they is used in building. In this paper first we gather and summarize recent developments to improve of concreteindustries to decrease its harms. And in second part benefit of using the concrete in the building and how to help to have green building describe.
