Automatic Generation Control System in Deregulated Environment Using Fuzzy Supervisory Controller abstract

This paper studies the Automatic Generation Control (AGC) system in the deregulated environment with bilateral contracts. Using Disco Participation Matrix (DPM), this paper deals with the bilateral contracts in AGC block diagram. The fuzzy supervisory controller is used to determine the real time gain of integral controller of the AGC system. A two-area system with three different scenarios of bilateral contracts, including contract violation in the last case, is considered as a case study.
