These media are a particularly valuable support for small companies in creating a structured and comprehensible organisation. For the further optimization or confirmation of the work safety management structure, companies in the aggregates industry have the opportunity to partake in the “Systematic Safety” quality seal procedure. On a voluntary basis, the companies have the opportunity to allow their organisation of work and health safety to be inspected and evaluated by the Steinbruch trade association, which acts in the role of a neutral body. If weaknesses are detected in the organisation or the operational implementation in the course of this evaluation, suggestions on how to correct these faults are submitted to the company. Thanks to this, the entire organisation of work safety is optimized, whereby the risk of accidents and operating malfunctions is demonstrably reduced considerably. Operational efficiency increases and unnecessary costs can be avoided.
