Abstract:

In this research, a multi-layer supply chain includes suppliers, manufacturer (producer), distributors and customers is modeled. But some the data of each parameter aren’t crisp. The triangular fuzzy data for these parameters are gathered and alternate in the supply chain mathematical programming model. Then the fuzzy linear programming model is solved using Lai-Hwang (Method III) as it’s a possibilistic problem. Besides of this method, the final model of this fuzzy supply chain is presented using a new developed method introduced by Hassimi and Torabi. The purpose of this model is optimizing the supply chain costs and various parameters such as costs of production, transportation costs, duration of distributions, allocated capacity, holding costs, volume of produced good, market demand, etc. for each layer are considered in the model. This case study is done in an assembler of automotive parts in Iran.
