Abstract:
Global competitive pressures have forced several firms to change or re-evaluate their supply chain strategies. Supplier integration (SI) as a key managerial strategy enables the firms to achieve better performance level. This study investigated whether SI and FSNS significantly and positively influence performance, and whether they can interact in exerting a synergic effect. This study was conducted in Spring 2014 in 76 Petrochemical Complexes of Pars Special Economic Zone. The findings revealed that SI can positively and significantly influence all dimensions of company performance. It also revealed that SI and FSNS interaction affects performance positively. These findings provide useful guidelines for managers on how to combine SI and FSNS initiatives in order to improve or maximize performance
