Abstract:

These days, with the increasing of world population and number of vehicles, the importance of planning in traffic has increased. For planning, the correct data and mathematical equations etc is required. One of the important information is the estimated of trip numbers and the determination of travel behavior. The main components of travel behavior are introduced by 4 factors including trip creating, trip distribution, trip split and trip allocation. In this paper, trip interchange split model which is one of trip split models is studied. In this model, vehicle choice for trip by passenger is depending on several parameters, one of which is the travel time ratio. In the formula used in travel time ratio parameter, deficiency is observed. This deficiency can cause errors in the analysis. The shortage of this formula is the lack of consideration of the chemical energy of different works. In this paper, the formula is modified and several coefficients are obtained by the proportion of consumed energy in various activities. By using these coefficients, the formula is introduced and with the help of this formula, analysis can be done more accurate and closer to reality and it can have the key role in decisions.shortage of this formula is the lack of consideration of the chemical energy of different
