Abstract:

There are some methods to encourage children’s mind to new thinking and enhance learning and creativity. One of these methods is environment. In this article, environmental factors that affect on children satisfaction were extracted. These factors are brightness of the space, colors of the walls, height of the furniture, moveable furniture, security and protection of place, form of the buildings, air quality, landscape that have impact on children learning and creativity. On the other hand, samples of sustainable schools were studied. Features of sustainable architecture also were elicit. For instance, sustainable buildings decrease the use of pesticides, minimize the use of artificial lighting, increase the use of green supplies and materials, reduce building energy, use efficient windows, etc. Afterward features of sustainable architecture were analyzed and the result was that sustainable architecture can be appropriate answer to increase children learning and creativity. On top of this, sustainable architecture improve children satisfaction with environment. Using sustainable architecture can help our country in order to create a favorable school for children therefor appropriate schools have a positive impact on children learning and creativity.
