Abstract:
The role and type of grammar instruction in foreign Lg learning with particular reference toEFL has been the subject of SLA research and discussion for decades . In recent times ,however, grammar instruction has been recognized as an essential and unavoidablecomponent of Lg learning and use. It is seen as valuable , if not indispensible, within thecontext of EFL teaching and Learning . Although in L.g learning and teaching history mostattempts were done to clarify the effect of explicit method of grammar on learners, somescholars suggested the important role of implicit teaching method on learning EFL.This paper reviewed the effect of explicit and implicit methods separately and also theeffect of these two methods simultaneously. The researcher attempted to determine this effectamong various participants in different context .In recent decade scholars pay more attentionto the effect of implicit grammar method on teaching .With considering previous research,implicit grammar methods had the most effect on learners.
