Study of environmental factors affecting on promotion of sustainable development of urban public placessecurity based on CPTED approach

Security is one of the most important components affecting the quality of life in urban space. Security hasboth objective and subjective dimensions that comes back to the social and physical components, thus forincreasing security, academic standards must be considered for the design of urban spaces. In accordingto CPTED approach, with proper and optimization environmental design; not only reducing crime, butalso can be expected increase the quality of life and satisfaction of citizens and crime and violence as aninfluence on the development of sustainability indicators adjustment are. Based on the definitionsprovided by specialists and experts, the unstable society, with a picture of the incidence of poverty andrising crime levels identified fitted. The purpose of this study was to determine the criteria that arespecified in detail concerns the sustainable development of a sense of security in public places. Given theimportance of sustainable development of urban and its emphasis on ensuring the security of citizens inurban spaces, this is analytic study with reference to the organizational documents, data and informationcompiled and documented librarian content to explain the concept of sustainable urban development incrime prevention through environmental design approaches and common concerns them in order toachieve a secure and stable subjects showed the city. The results of paper shows that with proper designenvironments, including public places could be improved security in urban environments, reducing theincidental costs, optimize resource allocation, and at the same time to develop sustainable urban steps.
