An efficient one-pot synthesis of dihydropyrano[c]chromene derivatives in the presence of Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 core-Shell nanoparticles as a green and resuable catalyst abstract

An efficient one-pot synthesis of dihydropyrano[c]chromenes derivatives has been developed in the presenceof Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 core-Shell nanoparticles. In this research we have developed the multi-component reactions of 4-hydroxycoumarin, aromatic aldehydes, and malononitrile using Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 in water under reflux conditions. Thebiologically active heterocyclic compounds including dihydropyrano[c]chromenes derivatives were prepared in highyields, in addition the present approach provides several advantages including little catalyst loading and facile catalystseparation and the catalyst can be recovered and reused several times without loss of actiivity. Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 core-Shell nanoparticles were fully characterized by SEM, XRD, EDX, VSM and FT-IR analysis.
