Abstract:
Phosphatidylcholine are the main component of the nanoliposome structure for drug delivery porpuse.Several methods have been used for separation and purification of Phosphatidylcholine. In this study purification ofPhosphatidylcholine by magnetic nanoparticles coated by hydroxyapatite was investigated. Magnetite nanoparticlesprepared by precipitation from partially reduced ferric chloride aqueous solutions and coated by hydroxyapatite by spraydryingtechnique which the average diameter was about 75 nm. The suitable pH for achieving the best separation was 9.Adsorption study showed that experimental data had a good fit (R2=0.9986) with Langmuir isotherm model, indicatinga monolayer adsorption onto magnetic nanoparticles and also experimental data had a good fit (R2>0.99) with pseudofirstorder kinetic model which indicate monolayer and physical adsorption.
