Preparation of cyanoethylated cellulose nanofiber and its characteristics

cellulose nanofibers produced with a disk grinder at 1500 r.p.m. Conditions of preparation of cyanoethylatedcellulose nanofiber with different degrees of substitution, were examined. Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrometerwas used to analyze changes in the chemical structure of cyanoethylated cellulose nanofiber. Also X-ray diffractometerwas used to record X-ray diffraction patterns of untreated and cyanoethylated cellulose nanofiber samples. Atomic ForceMicroscopy (AFM) used for measurement of particle size and thermal degradation of samples was investigated using aTGA technique. Finally the better thermal properties was observed for the cyanoethylated cellulose nanofiber.
