Evaluating the barriers to the establishment of the management information systems in organizations

The main objective of this study is to evaluate the barriers to the establishment of management information systems in organizations. In this research, definitions of management information systems, management information systems characteristics and factors affecting the success of this knowledge, background of researches, as well as the introduction of the most important obstacles to the establishment and development of management information systems in organizations are discussed. The results showed that incomplete initial reviews leads to the inappropriate context of theimplementation of information systems, and therefore designed System doesn’t match with other systems in the organization, fails to properly communicate and exchange with them and creating a regular and useful unit. The problem that exists almost with the successful implementation of the analysis and evaluation process is the problem of relationship between analysts and users of the system. Typically, users have little knowledge of computer and information systems and on the other hand analysts have little knowledge of the organization. This caused that designed and implemented systems don’t fully meet with the real needs of users.
