Abstract:

The underground water pollution of metropolitan areas is one of the major problems of the big cities such as Tehran at present. The main reasons of underground water pollution are excessive population growth, sanitary wastewater of buildings and industrialdevelopment.However, in this study the Salinityof 9 wells in district 7 of Tehran municipality were sampled and analyzed. Due to the results and compare to the standards, the zoning maps of the Salinityand TSS pollution are prepared. In ARCGIS, an interpolation methodof Spline is used to produce the maps. Finally, irrigation standard isused to show the states of pollution in the region 7.
