A Brief Review of High-Frequency Gravitational Waves abstract
In this paper gravitational waves in high-frequency limits were briefly reviewed. A general formalism was derived for approximating gravitational wave solutions to the vacuum Einstein equations of general relativity in situations where the gravitational fields are quite strong. To accomplish this by assuming that the wave has a high-frequency limit and expands the vacuum field equations in powers of the correspondingly small wavelength, getting an approximation scheme valid for all orders of strength of the gravitational field. In following, some methods for experimental generation of high-frequency gravitational waves (HFGWs) and some natural sources of gravitational waves in high-frequency limits were briefly suggested. And ultimately, possible technological pathways for detection of high-frequency gravitational waves, which have been currently examined, were introduced.
