Evaluate Landscape design criteria in Turkey urban green spaces from their citizens standpoint (case study:Ankara)

Green spaces in cities today have many natural and physical effects on urban life And their stability in urban systems. As you know to create urban green spaces we need Landscape design. Landscape design has certain criteria, including -1- Spatial solidarity -2- Space building -3- Order and diversity -4- Repeat -5-Compatibility -6- Humanity -7- Minimum interference and exceed to normal conditions -8- Easily access and behavior -9- aesthetic principle.In this paper , outset, we tried to define Landscape design criteria then introduce Ankara city and their parks and urban green spaces (Library Method).After that evaluate these criteria from Ankara citizens standpoint. first, adjusted questionnaire then randomly debrief from 300 person Ankara citizens about Landscape design criteria in Ankara urban green spaces. In end Analysis with SPSS statistic software and reach that , in Ankara urban green spaces , maximum attention to "aesthetic principle" criterion and minimum attention to "repeat" criterion. also poverty is basic reason that citizens not pay attention to Landscape design criteria.
