Accuracy Analysis of the Droop Control Method in DC Microgrids by Considering the Load Types abstract
The droop control method is a decentralized procedure for sharing load demand among voltage source converters in icrogrids. The power sharing accuracy of the droop method is influenced by different parameters like microgrid line impedances. For the first time, this paper assesses the dependability of the power sharing accuracy of the droop controller to the load types-constant impedance (CI), constant current (CC), constant power (CP). Moreover, in this paper the effect of DC microgrid configuration on the power sharing accuracy is studied. The simulation results in Matlab/Simulink software environment are presented to validate the findings.
