A novel competitive approach based on software engineering criterias to identify software components abstract

One of software development methods, is component-based software development that has the ability to identify the components of a software system, this method led to achievement of reusable components, reliability and reduces the time and cost of software development. The larger and more complex is software systems, the harder to detect components .In this study, we have proposed a method to identify the components based on competitive network approach and based on cohesion and coupling measures, then, according to the my solution, components based on the use case are evaluated by applying on one case study. The results show that, the use of the weighting method proposed and the competitive approach will have good results to identify the components of the software system.
