Abstract:
In this paper, a pole placement control strategyby state feedback in DQ rotating frame is proposed for a singlephase inverter. Classic controllers such as PI controller havebeen widely used in papers dealing with single phase inverters. Some disadvantages of such a controller are incapability ofprecise tuning of transient response and inflexibility duringdisturbances. Pole placement control strategy by statefeedback can overcome the above drawbacks. In this strategythe location of poles can be easily selected based on the valuesof state feedback gain matrix, leading to the improvement ofthe system transient response. Furthermore, an integrator isalso applied to improve the steady state operation of thesystem. Finally, a self-tuner controller is implemented to rejectany disturbances. Good performance of the proposedcontroller is verified through simulation inMATLAB/SIMULINK.
