Design and Simulation of Gas Detection Sensors Based onNano-Electronics (Nanotechnology) in Oil and Gas Refinery abstract
In this paper, paid the construction nanosensors for gas detection in therefinery environments with features such as: high sensitivity, low costand the size nm, respectively. Carbon nanotubes (CNT), based nanosensorsto the structure of this type. Using the basic properties of carbonnanotubes and different structures to detect different gases will bediscussed. Nanosized gas sensor elements are potentially faster, requirelower power, come with a lower limit of detection, operate at lowertemperatures, obviate the need for expensive catalysts, are more heatshock resistant and might even come at a lower cost than their macrocounterparts. This paper presents the discussion about carbon nanotubesbased as gas sensor. Nowadays, following the changes in the world, research about this type of sensor is a crucial issue. The basic materialsof carbon nanotubes that have two major properties such as electricalproperties and mechanical deformation coupling are good choices forfuture multi-functional material system that is capable of adaptive andsensory combination. The basic knowledge about the properties ofcarbon nanotubes is crucial in order to develop multi-functionalmaterial systems. The fundamental characteristics of electromechanicalcarbon nanotubes and their application in development of nano-scalebased gas sensor that has been discussed in the current study. The mainapplication nano-scale based gas sensor is in the part of fire and gassystems, analyzer systems of instrumentation devices and also gasesanalysis systems in laboratory. The results of this design have beenperformed by software TFCalc
