Since the cuckoo algorithm (COA) is a kind of the new algorithm and use it in researches less, so in this article we use this algorithm in order to estimate the induction motor's parameters .The induction motors are the most usable motors that used in industrial motion control system and also determining the parameters has direct and significant effect on efficiency and performance. The objective function have been measured by minimizing the actual values of relative error between the torques and the machines have been defined in the different estimated slips. The presented method is used for two different sample motors and results of this suggested method has been compare with other meta – innovative methods that published already that show the capability and the quick convergence of the suggested method .
