Structural and optical characterization of Nano-structured perovskite fabricated by new technique of vapor-assisted solution deposition abstract

A new method is used to produce a familiar compound, Methylammonium Lead Iodide. This method includes two steps, vapor deposition of Lead Iodide on a substrate and then dipping it in methylammonium iodide solution. Former methods involve spin coating of lead iodide on a substrate. Using evaporation technique, produced film is nanostructured and has a better crystal quality. As perovskite layer is absorber in nanostructured perovskite solar cells, refining its crystal structure can potentially lead to more effective solar cells
