Ionic liquids in the synthesis of high performance fluorinated polyamides containing derivative of imidazole and carbazole rings in the backbones

In recent years, ILs has also attracted the attention of polymer chemists and various polycondensation processes were successfully accomplished in ionic medium as well[1].Polyamides (PA)s are one of the high-performance polymeric materials and are characterized by thermo oxidativestability, good mechanical properties, and outstanding solvent resistance[2].There are reports of using imidazole and carbazole rings and their derivatives into polymeric frameworks to improve the solubility of the polymers [3].Which have also been suggested as promising photoconductive and photorefractive materials [4].Althoughpolymers with these functional units have been studied [5], but their collective suitability in the high performance polymers in respect of thermal, solubility, and photophysical properties has not been overcome
