Abstract:

In the present work , the hydrodynamic behavior of an expanded bed adsorption column to obtain the optimal conditions of BSA nanoparticle Recovery on streamline-DEAE as anion exchange adsorbent was studied .the effect of bed expansion and column diameter ,settled bed height on the operation of columns was studied. the effect of column diameter on the adsorption of BSA nanoparticle on streamline DEAE have also been studied. Residence time distribution showed that HEPT, axial dispersion increased with bed height, bed voidage and linear velocity. The adsorption capacity of BSA nanoparticle on the adsorbent increased with bed height .results showed that the yield of recovery of BSA nanoparticle decreased with increasing of column diameter. the yield of recovery of BSA nanoparticle in optimal condition 80.71% was achieved .
