An Investigation of Banking Health Using Fuzzy Expert System

Today, banks and financial institutes play a decisive role in the circulation of money and wealth in the community; therefore, they have a special place in the economy of any country. That s why proper and effective activities of banks may have important effects on the development of different economic sectors and increase the quantity and quality of productions. The experience of the recent financial crisis and the adverse effects resulting from the transfer of financial crisis to real economy has revealed the importance of greater attention to the issue of banking health. In several studies in the field of banking health, banking health indicators have so far been determined and selected. After selecting banking network health indicators and criteria, the most important point would be monitoring these indicators by the relevant authorities and executives. As it is evident, human errors, displacement of management and undue influence in this area may cause many damages to banking health. So the paper seeks to design an intelligent model based on fuzzy expert system in the way that it can control the procedure in this area with respect to health indicators and inform the authorities on the results without manipulation by any individual or specific individuals before it gets too late. The set of expert system was of fuzzy type so that we have high system flexibility. After the design and implementation of the system, we could achieve proper output according to the data collected and its simulation in MATLAB Software.
