The dramatic growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its widespread application in our personal and professional life have urged many teacher educators seriously think about incorporating ICT courses to enhance teachers understanding about growing involvement of ICT in the teaching profession. The current study aimed to explore the effectiveness of ICT instructional courses in the process of adoption and use of ICT in language education. Moreover, it examines how in-service teachers perception about educational usefulness of ICT affects their use of computer technology in the classrooms. To this aim, 30 respondents selected through simple random sampling were required to fill the researcher-made questionnaires which explored the interaction between teachers ICT competencies and their current teaching practices and their perceptions about ICT positive pedagogical aspects. The descriptive data showed that teachers who adopt and use computer technology are often those who are competent in ICT skills. Furthermore, the findings revealed that most of teachers are aware of positive aspects of ICT in enhancing teaching/ learning process and are willing to move toward technology- pedagogy integration
