The effect of using Information Technology on the self efficacy of Shiraz governor’s staff

This study examines the impact of Information Technology use on the self efficacy of Shiraz governor’s staff. The research is descriptive and correlational. The study population included 300 Shiraz governor’s staffs which were selected due to the definition of the population size and 169 persons were selected by the use of Chochran formula. Instruments included a questionnaire ofinformation technology and a questionnaire of staffs’ efficacy. Validity of the questionnaires was desirable according to experts and the reliability coefficient was calculated 93.0 and 92.0respectively. In order to analyze the data, the pls software was used. The findings showed that IT (and its components, including: Technology, information ware, and human ware) has an impact on staff self efficacy. Therefore, it is suggested that information technologies should be used more and more properly in Shiraz governor.
