Analyse the impact of channel state information in coverage region for Multiple-Access Channel abstract

Performance analysis of communication system by using information-theoretic results is important, from practical and theoretical viewpoint. In this study, we first, introduce a general rate region for discrete memoryless Multiple-Access Channel (MAC) with informed encoder, and by extending the discrete alphabet results to the continuous alphabet channel, the rate region for Gaussian MAC (GMAC) was derived. Next, in this paper, the impact of channel state information in coverage region for MAC is analysed. It is proved that in a fixed transmission rate, the channel state information decrease the coverage region.
