Abstract:

Health tourism is one of the most important branches of tourism industry. Many countries to absorb economic and social benefits of this type of activity Tourism wide have done. Iran, as a tourist destination are its ability to become a health tourism hub. In this article, we analyze the future conditions of Lake Urmia and how we can prevent negative outcomes (such as drying of the lake). We analyze the use of healing mud in therapeutic centres and beauty spas. We also analyze the effect of removing the healing mud from the lake by analyzing the experience of different centres in this area. We then provide this data for national and international investors. methodology used in this paper is descriptive – analytical and the necessary information and data has been collected through field observation, interviews and studying the projects conducted with regards to Coastal area of Urmia Lake. In this research with the use of the collected information and data three alternatives of the important ports of this lake has been selected among the different regions of the lake and then for selecting the superior alternative different weights has been allocated to important criteria and finally with the help of Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) model the appropriate location for constructing new recreation tourist and medical centers have beenrecommended.
