Ridge regression model fitting with triangular fuzzy inputs-output data abstract
This paper deals with ridge regression modeling in the context of fuzzy analysis in which the input and output are triangular fuzzy numbers. First, some approximations for multiplication of two triangular fuzzy numbers are introduced. Then, to evaluate the fuzzy linear ridge regression models, the best approximation is selected to minimize a suitable function. Further, experimental results are then presented, which indicate the performance of this model.
