Integrating Fuzzy DEA and Fuzzy AHP for efficiency analysis abstract

the DEA model is a nonparametric method in operations research for efficiency analysis and performance evaluation of decision making units (DMUs). The aim of this paper is constructing a new model for performance evaluation problems in the fuzzy environment. We transform the proposed FDEA model to three simply crisp linear programming models, which respectively maximize the lower value, medium value, and upper value of efficiency scores. To achieve the best ranking of DMUs, we then use Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP). Solving Fuzzy AHP leads to a full ranking of DMUs (the best DMU, the second best and so on). Finally, to illustrate the proposedmodel an example with six DMUs is considered.
