Design and Construction of Source Measure Unit

An SMU is a precision power sourcing instrument that provides voltage and current sourcing and measurement. In this work, design an SMU whit voltage resolution below 1 mV and current resolution below 1 µA. It is an essential tool for semiconductor labs. A circuit design techniques whit the ability to simultaneously measure voltage and current and planned source expressed. How isolation between channels by designing a suitable interface between software and hardware is explained. The result measured I-V charateristics of a transistor and features of thin device is shown.
