Abstract:
PV/T technology has become more interacted during the last decades. Some of the related review papers within the literature estimated the various aspects of PV/T solar collectors. A PV/T collector is a compound of photovoltaic and solar thermal which integrated into a system that is able to producing both electrical and thermal energy simultaneously. The PV/T collector are introduced in order to improve the electrical efficiency of a photovoltaic module at high temperature by the means of raising the system efficiency. In summery, by appropriate design and configuration, a PV/T collector can be used to supply both heat and electrical energy in application of residential, industrial and agriculture. According to that, it seems the furhter challenge of review can be interested regarding the development of PV/T air base collector. In addition, this review is focused on recently advances of heat exchanger technology that attached behind the tedlar layer in order to achieve the higher efficiency. Based on this review paper, it concluded that in the future, the PV/T technology is a very promising system for building integration.
