Abstract:

Numerous research studies have been conducted about hydrate formation in macroscopic level. However, in microscopic level, many questions have remained unanswered. Hydrate growth occurs in supersaturated solution of water and guest molecules (at the interface of water – guest molecules) in gas or liquid phase (or at the interface of ice – hydrate). Therefore, the characteristics of the interface play an important role in the mechanism of growth. Diffusion of water or guest molecules in hydrate surface is very important in hydrate growth or analysis. This diffusion depends on thermodynamic conditions (T,P) and hydrate-liquid interface. That is why the placement or movement of molecules in hydrate surface is very important. This paper examines some ways to prevent hydrate formation in pipelines and provides some solutions
