Abstract:
This study aimed at the investigation of the effect of interpersonal relationships on decision making and creative thinking among Yasouj Azad University s students. The research design is descriptive correlation; and statistical population is all students of this university from which 324 people were selected through available sampling. The instruments used are Torrens creative thinking, decision making component from life skills inventory questionnaire of World Health Organization (WHO) and interpersonal relationship component of Bar An emotional intelligence questionnaire. Data analysis was done by using of Pearson correlation and regression. The results showed that there is a significant positive relation between interpersonal relationships and decision making (p<0.50). It was observed a positive relationship between interpersonal relationships and creative thinking (p<0.50); also, it was a positive relationship between creative thinking and decision making. To predicate decision making, the interpersonal relationship have could support 6.8% of effective factors on decision making (p<0.50). To explain creative thinking, the interpersonal relationships could support 3% of creative thinking variance (p<0.50).
