Desining a grating filter with the formation of resonator ring abstract
In this paper, a method for designing a photonic crystal-based optical filter is presented. Using a resonator ring at the waveguide center, the output wave quality is better than the input of more than 90%, which is good in the field of communication. In this design, a square grid with dielectric rods in the air bed is used to be carried out by a wavelength resonant loop. In the following, we study the effect of the change in the radius of point and grid defects on the output spectrum. High passivity and good quality coefficient are among the proposed filter features in this paper. To design this waveguide, RSOFT software has been used.
