Measuring the impact of IT/IS investment on Iranian power plants using DEA models abstract

By investing many investments in IT/IS area, many organizations are seeking to determining these investments affects and impacts on their performance measures. In this article a data analysis framework using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is applied to investigate the effects of IT/IS investments on power plants performance. In this way we used 8 Iranian power plants data. Load factor was the most critical performance measure affected from IT/IS investment in surveyed power plants and number of PCs in most critical indicator of IT/IS investments.
