Immerging Nano Technologies for Removing of Heavy Metal Pollutants from the Water abstract

Waste water in automotive companies always includes organic contaminants and dyes, heavy metals such as Hg, Cd, etc. Titanium oxide (Tio2) nanosized particles dupled with Ni and some of nanoparticles in the presence of ultraviolet light, is known to produce strong oxidant and most of organic compounds were completely degraded in to carbon dioxide and water instead of intermediate matter. In this system we use nanoparticles for purifying organic contaminants specially heavy metals. Purification system consists of three parts: A and B & C. The first part separates heavy metals such as Hg from water by magnetic nanoparticles and field, then the second part removes viruses and bacteria by photocatalyst nanoparticles and in the third part ceramic filter trapes all contaminants.
