Abstract:
Introduction & aim: Breast cancer is a common disease between women throughout the world that is a great factor to demise women. There are many different genes to outbreak of the disease, some polymorphisms of these genes increase susceptibility to breast cancer in some ethnicity. Methods: This study has checked out the effects of different gene polymorphisms of Sex Steroid metabolic proteins associated with increasing the risk of breast cancer that were recently reported from candidate genes by electronic literature search. Results and Conclusion: This study suggests strong influences of ER-α, ER-β, PGR, PXR and some CYPs genes polymorphisms in breast cancer susceptibility in especially in African American population.
