A Review on Some of the Energy-Aware Migration and Saving of the SLA Algorithms in the Cloud abstract
Clouds consist of a number of physical machines in which there areseveral virtual machines within each physical machine. This is calledvirtualization. Virtual machines are capable of transferring from aphysical machine to another physical machine, this action is calledmigration. In cloud profit is very important because it’s a commercialsystem. The main purpose of migration is to maintain a Service LevelAgreement (SLA) and reduce energy consumption. But migration hascost itself. Many studies have been done with the goal of effectivelyreducing the virtual machines migration by using server loadprediction and resource management techniques. The main challengesin such articles are reducing energy consumption and saving SLA.This paper reviews some of the various algorithms. The goal of thesealgorithms is to reduce energy consumption by reducing migration, estimating the load, managing resources, and preventing SLAviolations. In this paper, the advantages, disadvantages and objectivesof these algorithms are briefly explained. Also, these algorithms arecompared with each other in terms of criteria and test bed. It can benoted in virtualization problem, multi-objective algorithms are betterthan the single-objective algorithms in performance.
