Application of Experimental and Modeling Approach for Parameters Optimization of a DMFC using Genetic Algorithm abstract

It is well known that anode and cathode pressures and cell temperature were the effective parameters in Performance of DMFC. In present study, the genetic algorithm as one of the most powerful optimization tools was applied to determine working conditions that obtaining maximum power density of a DMFC. A quasi two dimensional, isothermal model is presented to determine maximum power of DMFC. For validation of this model and experimental investigation, the experimental setup is applied. Results of Modeling are compared to experimental results and have a good agreement with them.
