Abstract:
Teachers’ organizational commitment and their leadership style are not far from each other. The present study investigated the relationship between Iranian EFL organizational commitment and their leadership style. The method used in this research was correlational and Spearman Correlation Coefficient was to explain teacher commitment and their leadership style. For this purpose, two questionnaires named Class Leadership Style and Organizational Commitment Scale were administered to 147 teachers and not necessarily English teachers and both males and females in Khorasan Razavi, Sabzevar, Iran. The above mentioned questionnaires were distributed among participant teachers and the results were analyzed by SPSS. The results revealed positive and significant relationship between organizational commitment of teachers and their leadership style. Implications of the study are discussed in relation to the teachers-student relation and principals, as well as to policy makers at the educational level.
