A system dynamics model for performance measurement of a dairy supply chain abstract
Modern organizations require a proper model such as supply chain management in order to achieve competitive advantage. Supply chain management seeks to adopt strategies for achieving the established targets of the chain, therefor a series of interconnected production and distribution processes are conducted comprising all parts along the chain requires a comprehensive, dynamic and effective approach. In this study, attempt to identify the variables affecting the performance of supply chain management. it is also attempted to improve supply chain model of rout to market distribution unit in Kalleh Company, enhance inventory levels in order to respond quickly to the customer needs and reducing maintenance costs, it is effort to take advantage of the information flow and finally to reduce losses resulting of lost sales. The supply chain model is simulated, basic variables are optimized using dynamic system in order to understand system behavioural complexities and apply feedback control system principles.
