A multi-criteria approach for designing a multi-period green close loop supply chain abstract

Imposition of strict environmental protection acts and the imperative need of best possible allocation of resources have given birth to the concept of low carbon logistics. Environmental laws force the manufacturers to extend their existing supply chains to form a closed loop supply chain through the setup of an efficient recovery system. This paper with integration forward supply chain and reverse supply chain, designing a Closed Loop Supply Chain Network (CLSCN) and considering environmental issues to give the green image from supply chain to customers. A Bi-Objective Mixed Integer Linear Programming (BOMILP) model is propose to design of a multi-period green closed-loop supply chain. First objective aims to maximize the profit generated in CLSCN and the second objective minimize the number of vehicle which used in CLSCN. Then the proposed bi-objective programming model solving as a single objective model using LP-metric method and the results is analysed and reported.
