Abstract:
The present study deals with spatially homogeneousand totally anisotropic Bianchi type-VI0 bulkviscous cosmological models in Lyra geometry. The Einstein’sfield equations have been solved exactly by takingthe shear in the model proportional to expansion scalar(0) which leads to A = B(n), where A and B are metricfunctions and n is a positive constant (n> 1). We alsoadopt a condition 0= L (constant) where f is the coefficientof bulk viscosity. It has been found that the displacementvector is a decreasing function of time and itapproaches to a small positive value at late time which issupported by recent observations. It is also found that thedistance modulus curve of derived model matches withobservations perfectly.
