DESIGN OF VISCO-ELASTIC DAMPERS FORSTRUCTURES BASED ON FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIALEQUATIONS

Recently, it has been realized that visco-elastic materials canbe modeled by fractional derivatives. Therefore, studying the response ofthe structure with visco-elastic damper is important under siesmic load.The aim of this paper is to propose a design guideline for using visco-elasticdampers for the control of building structures subjected to earthquake.loading
