Abstract:

As there have been few efforts to have a comprehensive investigation to main struggles of the EFL, this new type of qualitative research is an appropriate substructure of the investigation for delving into the innermost struggles of the deaf. The current study casts lights on the attitudinal, cognitive and educational perspectives of the two EFL of the deaf and the mysterious strands of their challenges. Drawing the data collection collected from two EFL of the deaf high school of Baghcheban at Karaj over a period of academic year. This case study is designed with structured questions. After data analysis, eight main themes and subthemes emerged from the data. The main social theory which pivots on the minority group is social stigma theory. Ladd (2003), emphasizes the deaf hood, a trip from deafness to the deaf hood. It highlights the positive perspectives of the deaf students toward themselves and their community of counterparts
